What is a "raw space" and is anything included?

A raw event space is when the venue provides very little except the space itself, allowing clients to unleash their creativity!  Our Event Barn rental does include an assortment of banquet tables and mahogany Chiavari chairs (for indoor use).

Site accessibility?

The Event Barn: ADA accessible on main level, however the balcony is only accessible via stairs.  The Covered Pavilion: Is accessible via concrete sidewalk path.  We can provide an ADA accessible restroom trailer, with advance notice (restroom trailer is additional cost for Covered Pavilion and Sycamore Field rentals).  

How many guests can we have?

Our absolute guest maximum for all event spaces is 150 guests. If your event is at or near the maximum capacity, we strongly recommend renting a shuttle to transport guests or car-pooling.

Can we provide our own beer, wine, liquor?

Yes!  However, we do require that clients obtain a one day ABC Banquet license.  Your event planner and/or caterer can assist you with obtaining this banquet license for your event. 

Is a event coordinator or planner required?

 All events held within the Event Barn must have a licensed day-of coordinator or event planner to ensure the event runs smoothly. Our team will always have a representative on-site to assist, but will not coordinate vendor arrival or décor installation. We encourage you to visit our recommended vendors page of experienced professionals who will ensure your event is worry-free

Will there be other events occurring at same time?

No.  We only book one event per day, so entire space will be yours to use. 

Are we required to use recommended vendors?

No.  We have a list of recommended vendors for our event space. We have worked hard to establish relationships with these partners, ensuring that they have a good knowledge of the space and can provide excellent service. You are welcome to choose a vendor outside our list as long as they are professionally licensed and insured. 

Are there restrooms available onsite?

Rental of our Event Barn includes a luxury restroom trailer (ADA accessible with a ramp, upon request).  The Covered Pavilion and Sycamore Field can use the ADA porta-john available behind the Event Barn. The rental of luxury restroom trailer is available for covered pavilion or sycamore field at an additional cost. 

What are the guidelines for clean-up?

Clients and/or their caterers are responsible for clearing and and general clean up of space.  This includes collecting and bagging all trash and service items such as cups, bottles, napkins, etc. All the items brought in by the client, including service items and decorations must be bagged for disposal and removed at the conclusion of the event.

What are the guidelines for décor?

We do not allow any scattered décor (bird seed, rice), open flames/sparklers, or anything nailed, stapled, pinned that would cause damage to the wood.  Any decorations, including balloons and streamers, must be removed at the end of each event.

What kind of events can be held at your venue?

Our Covered Pavilion and Sycamore Field are perfect for agricultural meetings, small intimate wedding ceremonies, children's birthday parties, and office gatherings.  Our Event Barn is perfect for larger weddings & receptions, corporate events, retirement parties, celebration of life events, and so much more!

(*due to safety reasons, we cannot allow children's birthday parties to be held inside the barn)

What is the cancelation policy for weather?

In general, we do not cancel events due to weather unless it is dangerous (thunder, lightning, tropical storms, etc.)  If you are concerned about weather, we recommend re-scheduling for another date. 

*Please note that certain farm activities cannot be utilized under poor weather conditions such as fire pit, inflatable, and wagon rides.

How do I book the Event Barn or other event spaces?

Event Barn dates are locked in once contract has been signed and 50% deposit (+ security deposit) has been received.  The remaining deposit is due 30 days prior to event.  

How do I find out if my preferred date is available or schedule a tour?

Simply contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible on available dates and a guided tour.
